Why should I use your services?

I offer expertise in preparing distinctive, outcome-focused, value-projecting resumes and other documents along with a solid understanding of career positioning strategies and automated resume processing systems. I have been providing career services since 2007, and I can say with complete honesty that I receive many referrals because of the impact that I have had over the years in helping clients generate interview requests and job offers (see Testimonials to see clients' comments about my work). In addition, many clients find that when they invest in my services to create a resume or another document that they do not have to invest time and money in this same document again except for making occasional routine updates. I am also regarded by clients as someone who is easy to work with, thoroughly professional, and completely committed to their success.

What happens when I call for a quote?

My approach is very basic and straightforward: I conduct all client communications in a friendly, respectful way in which I provide you with the necessary information and then step back and let you make the decision based on your budget and time frame. There is zero pressure to purchase at any time in the process as again I am completely respectful of your right to make a decision that works for you.

What is your method for setting fees?

Simply stated, I compete on value not on price. Because I offer prospective clients extensive experience and a personalized, highly accessible service (for example, I encourage clients to ask questions at any point in the process to ensure their complete satisfaction with the end deliverable) that is backed by continual research and study of the latest trends impacting job seekers, I charge fees that I believe fairly reflect the overall value that I provide. With that said, I am very aware that there are many service providers and price points for people to consider. I also realize that no service model meets everyone's needs, and I completely respect the rights of individuals to choose solutions that offer the most value relative to their budgets. How do you handle resume updates?

In general, the vast majority of clients who come to me for assistance are seeking resume solutions to overcome the gap between the value they feel their resume is currently projecting and the value that they would like it to project. Because of the scope of work required, this often means working with many different parts of a resume to attain a consistent level of quality across the entire document. As a result, my pricing reflects the effort and skill that is required to update or revamp their resumes to help them articulate and present their full, unique value to employers.

Do you guarantee results?

I cannot guarantee hiring results as there are too many factors beyond my control. But I can guarantee your satisfaction with the work that I will do for you. If you are not satisfied, please let me know why and I will do what it takes to make it right. My singular concern is your complete satisfaction with my services.

Is the information that I provide to you confidential?

Absolutely. The information that you share with me will be held in the strictest confidence. I will never disclose personal information or work-related or other background details with anyone.

What forms of payment do you accept?

I accept checks or cash, as well as online payments through PayPal (bank account or credit card) or Popmoney (bank account).

Do you meet with clients in person or do you handle all communications by phone or e-mail?

Because many of my clients live far outside of the area where I am based (Stevens Point, Wis.), the information-gathering process is accomplished via email, through a phone discussion, or by using both of these options. For Central Wisconsin clients, I will often meet with them in person for the initial discussion.
